This New Year’s, the South Loop Spanish restaurant offers a Catalan-inspired elevated “Surf & Turf” prix fixe menu. For the first course, guests can choose between an Oyster Chowder made with ajillo gambas, or a Warm Roasted Beet Salad. Second course options include Shrimp Beignets, Secreto Skewers made pincho moruno style, or a Smoked Salmon Montadito. The third course features one entrée and a choice of two sides per entrée. “Surf & Turf” entrees options include a Vaca Vieja Beef Ribeye & Shrimp with a creamy garlic-manchego sauce, a Maine Lobster & Chicken Lollipops with a mojo verde sauce, or a Pan Seared Scallops & Filet Mignon. Guests will then finish the meal with a traditional Christmas Massini Cake.
The New Year’s menu is offered in the dining room from 5-10 p.m. and the bar is open from 4-11 p.m. on December 31.
