Food Holiday #TacosRule Mexican Bridgeport

Omar Solis and Audri Simonelli-Solis, the husband-and-wife team behind Bridgeport newcomer Taco E, will augment the menu with one of Tacos Erendira’s chile rellenos tacos, on National Taco Day, October 4th. Taco E draws inspiration from Omar’s grandparents, Salvador and Guadalupe Solis, the founders of Tacos Erendira, which was a staple in the Bridgeport neighborhood for over 50 years (1967-2018).  Additionally, Taco E, which is currently carryout and delivery only, will have a special one-night only bar and fast-casual seating option. The Solis family opens the front room, bar and patio of neighboring Nana (Taco E is located in the same building as Nana) for Taco E guests to order specials such as $5 Margaritas and $5 Tecate cans. The $4 chile rellenos taco special runs from 5-7 p.m. (while supplies last); fast-casual seating and bar service are available from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, October 4.

Taco E is located at 750 West 33rd Street (Chicago, Illinois 60616)
