Celebrate National S'mores Day with a S'mores Drink & Dessert at I|O Godfrey

In honor of National S'mores Day on August 10, I|O Godfrey at The Godfrey Hotel Chicago presents a S'mores-inspired drink and dessert available throughout the month of August. Restaurant-goers can order these S'mores-inspired treats under the stars in their indoor|outdoor rooftop space. Starting in August, the lounge/restaurant's Corporate Director of Food & Beverage Grant Gedemer will be offering a campfire inspired S'mores Martini ($15) made with:

• Bacardi Rum infused with banana
• Cold-brew coffee
• Chocolate drizzle
• Crushed graham crackers for glass rim
• Roasted marshmallow for beverage garnish 

Guests of The Godfrey Hotel Chicago will also have the option of picking up a To-Go Kit ($75; Serves 3-4) to create the S'mores Martini at home containing the following:

• Crushed graham crackers
• Bacardi Rum infused banana base with cold brew (16oz)
• Marshmallow (non-roasted)
• Skewers for marshmallow garnish
• (Directions: Rim martini glass with chocolate drizzle and pour graham cracker crumb mix around the rim. Roast one marshmallow. Shake & serve over fresh ice.)

Additionally, they will will be featuring a S'mores Dessert ($12) comprised of layers of smooth chocolate mousse, chocolate ganache, graham crackers, and toasted crushed marshmallows.
