Celebrate National Ice Cream Month with Boozy Gelato Floats at Sweet Home Gelato

Sweet Home Gelato has announced new boozy offerings for their summer 2024 menu. Joining their menu of artisanal gelatos & sorbets, coffee creations, baked goods and more is a new line-up of boozy options, including a build your own “adult” float opportunity. 21+ guests can choose from one of the team’s rotating seasonal frozen dessert flavors then top it up with one of their alcoholic selections — red, white and sparkling wines, craft seltzers, canned cocktails, Beat Box party punches and more. A few staff-tested-and-approved flavor combinations include strawberries & cream gelato with sparkling rosé; honey gelato with a Cutwater Tequila Paloma; peach sorbet with a classic Prosecco; and passion fruit sorbet with a Tropical Beat Box.

Sweet Home Gelato continues their work with Almost Home Kids, a local non-profit that provides a bridge from hospital to home for children with medical complexities by educating and empowering families with the training, skills and confidence needed to care for their child in their own home. A percentage of all company-wide sales is donated to AHK to help continue their important work. 

Sweet Home Gelato is located at 151 West Riverwalk South, between the LaSalle & Wells Street bridges, as well as at three suburban locations in Highland Park, Naperville and Libertyville.
