Broken Shaker Chicago

Broken Shaker is celebrating National Cheeseburger Day this Monday, September 18th and Chicago Gourmet’s Annual Hamburger Hop, Friday, September 22nd. In spirit of the food holiday, the Shaker Happy Meal featuring Broken Shaker’s Shaker Burger, crafted with 2 Smashed Patties, melted American Cheese, thick-cut bacon, onion, pickles and flavored with Broken Shaker’s secret special sauce, paired with seasoned fries.

The Shaker Happy Meal will be offered for a limited-time during Happy Hour Monday- Thursday 4-6pm in celebration of National Cheeseburger Day and Chicago Gourmet Hamburger Hop.

LG’s Bar & Kitchen 

The Drive Thru Burger is made with a double smash patty, American cheese, caramelized onion, lettuce, and secret sauce placed on top brioche bun.

The Smith

The Smith Burger features cheddar, bacon shallot jam, crispy onions, house pickles, TSB sauce, brioche bun, and served with a side of fries.

Farm Bar

Farm Bar’s Michigan “Harvest” Burger is made with the restaurant's signature Sour Cherry Cider Jam, Caramelized Onions, Herbed Goat Cheese and Arugula on a Buttered Bun and served with fries.

The Dearborn

The Dearborn Burger is made with CDK Farms beef, Wisconsin cheddar, special sauce, dill pickle, bibb lettuce on a brioche bun. 


The Short Rib Burger is made with smoked cheddar, a saffron aioli, crispy jamon atop a buttery brioche. 

BLVD Steakhouse

The BLVD Steak Burger is a classic steakhouse burger topped with cheddar cheese, pickles, house dressing between a sesame seed bun.

Offshore Rooftop

The Offshore Prime Burger is made with white cheddar, a sweet onion agrodolce, house pickles and served on a brioche bun.  

Vol. 39 

Vol. 39 features a Wagyu Smash Burger topped with umami tomato, hooks 5yr. cheddar, and caramelized onion & bacon aioli. This wagyu burger is sandwiched between a house-made japanese milk bun and served with a side of truffle cheddar fries. 

Michael Jordan’s Steak House Chicago

The Wagyu Big Mike Burger features 10oz of ground wagyu beef, broiled and served on a toasted sesame bun with aged cheddar, charred sweet onion, dill pickle, shredded iceberg, and special sauce. 

Raised | An Urban Rooftop Bar 

Raised's menu spotlights the Raised Burger layered with a special Raised sauce, Gibbsville Creamery 3-year cheddar, grilled onions, pickle planks, pancetta, and butter lettuce. 

Chicago Burger Company 

Guests can order the CBC Smash Burger drizzled with house-made aioli. Customize this burger with cheese of choice and a range of toppings from grilled onions, to jalapenos, to grilled mushrooms or even giardiniera. 

Staytion Market & Bar 

The Staytion Burger is topped with Ellsworth Creamery white cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion and giardiniera aioli layered between a seeded brioche bun.

The Barn Steakhouse

The Evanston restaurant offers their Heritage Sirloin Burger topped with Boursin Cheese, Grilled Onion, Lettuce and Tomato on a Brioche Bun and served with Frites. 

Canal Street Eatery 

While waiting for an Amtrak or Metra out of Union Station, diners can try the eatery's Canal Burger with Garlic Aioli, Tomato Jam, House Pickles, Cheddar on Seeded Brioche.


If you don't want pasta, opt for the Italian restaurant's Smash Burger, garnished with Truffled Chili Crisp Aioli and American Cheese on a Brioche Bun.

Cafe Robey

Amy Morton's newest Evanston eatery features a French-inspired Smash Burger. The Double Burger is topped with Gruyere Cheese, Grilled Onions and Malt Mayo.

Whether you are attending an United Center event or in the neighborhood, Queenie's offers a Merkt’s Double Cheddar Burger with Applewood Smoked Bacon, Pickle Rémoulade on a Brioche Bun. Frites are served on the side.

For a variety of takes on a burger, Shake Shack Chicago locations offer their various burgers to celebrate.

Lure Fishbar

On Monday, September 18th, Lure Fishbar is opening a one-day only carryout window for their "Haute Happy Meal" in honor of National Cheeseburger Day. 

The 'Haute Happy Meal' is a double barrel burger with two smash patties with American cheese, secret sauce, fried onion and sliced pickles, served with truffle parmesan fries. For those who want to get super deluxe, you can add shaved truffle (MP) or a Moet Garden Spritz.

The Board Room

The Board Room Libertyville's Double Stack Smash Burger features two, 4oz all-beef patties, melted Taleggio cheese and crispy pork belly. It’s served on a toasted brioche bun with a side of crispy, garlic aioli fries.

François Frankie

François Frankie has a Le Cheeseburger Royale, featuring two beef patties, thick cut bacon, confit onion, american cheese, dijonnaise, house pickles, and a brioche bun. François Frankie also has a more traditional 8oz. Prime Steak Burger on the menu, made with a thick aged brisket and sirloin patty, sharp cheddar, house pickles, lettuce, tomato, onion, and roasted garlic aioli.

Celebrate National Cheeseburger Day by pairing the Frontier Burger (two grilled Wagyu beef patties, cheddar, LTO, pickle, burger sauce, served with fries - $12) with drink offerings, including $8 old fashioneds, $5 High Noons, and $5 select draft beer.

Guests can also try Frontier’s BBQ Lamb Burger ($22) - a crafted lamb bacon burger that is accompanied by Texas BBQ, provolone, fried onion, pickled pepper aioli, and served with fries.
