Cody's Public House

Cody’s Public House in West Lakeview will host game watch parties for every leg of the March Madness tournament (see schedule below). For the duration of the tournament, Cody’s will open early to broadcast all games. Guests can tailgate and BYOM (bring your own meat) to prepare on Cody’s grills in the beer garden for free. Games will be broadcast on eight 65-inch TVs around the bar for a total of 10 throughout the space. 

  • FRIDAY, MARCH 17 - Tip-off Party

Cody’s will host St. Patrick’s Day-themed Tip-off Party on Friday, March 17 starting at 10 a.m. Guests can start their bracket off with the luck of the Irish and select specials like 22-ounce green beer mugs, $6 Guinness pints, $5 Proper 12, and $8 Bushmills car bombs. There will be a Bushmills and Proper 12 sampling and glass giveaway at 6 p.m. as well as a Guinness glass giveaway. 

  • THURSDAY, MARCH 23 - Sweet 16 Party

On Thursday March 23, Cody’s will host a “Sweet 16 Happy Hour” from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. featuring 16 different $4 drafts. Additional specials will include a Proper 12 and Proper 12 Apple sampling and giveaway at 7 p.m., $6 22-ounce Green Beer Mugs, and $6 Proper 12 Whiskey. 

  • SATURDAY, MARCH 25 - Elite 8 Flip Cup Tournament

Cody’s will host a High Noon Flip Cup Tournament for the Elite 8 round on Saturday, March 25 at 2:30 p.m. Specials will include $25 High Noon Buckets, $25 High Noon Tequila Buckets, $6 Camarena Tequila  and $7 Rumhaven.

Gold Coast Social

Guests can catch all the March Madness action at Gold Coast Social in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood. Doors will open at 11 a.m. on game days with games being shown on 24 60-inch TVs with sound on. Game day food and drink specials will include $25 beer buckets, and combo deals like a $60 appetizer platter and two buckets of beer, and a $250 appetizer platter plus two buckets of beer or Grey Goose bottle, and more. 

Guests can also choose from a happy hour menu from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. that includes $5 beer bottles, $7 well cocktails, half-off specialty cocktails, half-off appetizers and a $10 Beer and shot combo. A late night food menu is available from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

Roundhouse Sports Bar

Guests can catch all the March Madness action at Logan Square’s Roundhouse Sports Bar. The bar will show all games on over 20 flat screen TVs and open early on Thursday, March 16 and Friday, March 17. Featured game day food and drink specials will include 25-percent off select appetizers, $20 Miller Lite and Miller High Life buckets, $5 Miller High Life and Sapporo stadium cups, and $6 Sake Bombs.

The Graystone Tavern

The Graystone Tavern in Wrigleyville will open at 11 a.m. to host March Madness First Round Watch Parties on Thursday, March 16 and Friday, March 17. Patrons can select a $40 per person drink package including all 20 draft beers, all seltzers, cocktails, all bottled and canned beers, mimosas and bloody marys. Additional game day food and drink specials will include $6 Stadium Nachos, $6 Bracket Buster Bombs, $20 domestic buckets and $30 Nutrl Buckets.

Broadcasting the games with sound on 9 TVs throughout the bar, Graystone Tavern also offers a winterized beer garden with TVs.

The Rambler Kitchen + Tap

The Rambler Kitchen + Tap in North Center will offer a “Tip Off March Madness” drink package on Thursday, March 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The $30 per person package will include import and domestic bottles, all drafts, premium liquors and house wines.

Throughout the tournament, The Rambler will open early to broadcast all games and game day specials will include $20 Miller Lite, Coors Light, and Bud Light buckets, $25 High Noon Vodka and Tequila buckets, $25 shot buckets with Proper 12, Dobel Tequila or Skrewball (mix and match, pick five), $25 Pizza Puff buckets and $5 Pizza Puffs.

Guests can catch the games on 24 60-inch TVs throughout the bar with the sound on. The Rambler also offers seating in their enclosed heated beer garden complete with a bar and several TVs.

City Works Eatery & Pour House

City Works Eatery & Pour House, a sports restaurant in Schaumburg, Vernon Hills and Wheeling, are hosting a March Madness viewing party. With more than nine HDTVs scaling the walls, you won’t miss a shot.   

In addition to the 90+ beers on tap, City Works is featuring Mega Mules, 96 ounces of mule madness in a shareable mug. The cocktails can be shared between three to four guests and are available as a Tito’s Texas Mule, Dutch Mule, Kentucky Mule or Cucumber Mule. 
Regardless of who you’re rooting for, anyone can win as guests test their luck when they receive scratch-offs during the tournament, with a chance to win prizes including gift cards between $25-$100 to use at any City Works location.  
March Madness takes place on March 14 through April 3.

Bottleneck Restaurants - Old Town Pour House, Sweetwater and South Branch

All of Bottleneck’s locations including Old Town Pour House (Chicago, Oak Brook, Naperville), Sweetwater, and South Branch, will open early for 11 a.m. games (March 16-19, 23-26 and April 1-3), with HDTVs to catch every move and music videos played during commercials. Menus offering game day options like apps, burgers, sandwiches, and dozens of other bites can be paired with selections of dozens of craft beers on tap and in bottles/cans. Groups can order – The Mule Madness. This 96 oz mule is served in a shareable mug and is available as a Tito’s Texas Mule, a Dutch Mule, a Kentucky Mule, or a Cucumber Mule ($45). Seating is first come, first served.

Radio Room

The River North sports bar offers game day eats and more. They’ll open early on the 16th and 17th for games and will likely do so for additional game days. A 30-ft HD wall and nearly 20 additional big screensTheir Game Day Menu will also be available for March Madness games and includes:

  • Drinks specials like $8 tallboy stadium drafts, $8 Tito’s mules and a $45 shareable “Holy S#*t Mule”, $25 beer buckets and more.
  • Grand Plateau includes chicken tenders, fried cheese curds and pickles, truffle fries, radio room wings, charred cauliflower, and all the proper dipping sauces ($79)


This West Loop spot will open early for Thursday and Friday games. Their Game Day menu offers bites and drink options for groups including Da Juice Tower ($60) which serves 6-8 with Hanger 1 vodka and a variety of mixes like mango, passion fruit, OJ, and more.

Ina Mae Tavern  

From Thursday, March 16th through Saturday, April 1st, Ina Mae will be offering specials such as $45 Po’boy Platters (with choices of blackened shrimp, fried shrimp or Nashville chicken, serving 4-6 people), as well as $29 Wings by The Dozen & Fries. Drink specials include $5 High Noons or $25 High Noon Buckets, $4 Old Styles, $25 Miller Lite & Modelo Buckets, and $10 Hurricanes. 


Frontier is offering specials featuring $100 off whole smoked pigs, 20% off Frontier Duo & Trio Meals, 10% off Frontier’s large party menu appetizers, and $25 High Noon, White Claw & Hornito’s Seltzer Buckets. Specials will be available on all game days from March 16th through April 1st and Frontier will be streaming the games on all televisions throughout the restaurant.
