The Original Heaven on Seven on Wabash, the Cajun restaurant of chef/owner Jimmy Bannos, is hosting another Cajun Cooking Class featuring a five- course dinner and demonstration on Wednesday, June 1 from 7-9:30 p.m. Guests will receive personal instruction on the art of Cajun cooking from Chef Bannos, all while sipping on all-you-can-drink beer, wine and the Heaven on Seven hurricanes. In addition, guests will get to taste and enjoy the finished product. This is a unique event to learn about and experience first-hand the history behind Heaven on Seven and the Bannos family on the 7th floor of the historic Garland Building where it all started over 35 years ago.

Creole Spiced Caesar Salad
Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo
Orzolaya (Jimmy’s Italian twist on Jambalaya)
New Orleans BBQ Shrimp over Cornbread
Blueberry Corn Blasters
Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased here. Reservations are required. Ticket price includes five course dinner, cooking demo from Chef Bannos, beer, wine or Hurricanes and recipes for the dishes from the demo/dinner! Tax and gratuity not included.
