Caffè RōM, Chicago's only "Modern - Italian - Coffee Bar," will open its first coffee lounge on the mezzanine level of the Prudential Plaza (180 N. Stetson) on Thursday, October 1. The Caffè RōM coffee lounge is a newly constructed space for Prudential Plaza tenants and their guests with comfortable couch seating for 20 to 25.
The coffee lounge will be open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. The space features free WiFi in a lounge atmosphere and menu items from Caffè RōM including handcrafted coffees and homemade seasonal pastries.
The grand opening celebration will be held on Thursday, October 1 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and will feature live acoustic music by Chicago singer and songwriter Brandon Cunningham. Complimentary tastings of signature beverages and new seasonal offerings like apple spiced muffins, pumpkin muffins will also be available.
At 11:30 a.m., guests can head one floor down to Caffè RōM on the Concourse Level to enjoy their Autumn Artist Series. Michael Hapner will play acoustic music until 1:30 p.m. while Caffè RōM serves up complimentary samplings of guest favorites, seasonal beverages, and pastries. All patrons will receive a coupon for one complimentary 12-ounce cup of artisan-roasted drip coffee and $1 off the purchase of any size autumn drink special. Guests may use both offers at anytime, and the coupon expires October 29, 2015.
