Four Entertainment Group (4EG) is raising a glass for a cause this October with a monthlong initiative benefiting the Karen Wellington Foundation in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. From October 1–31, eight 4EG bars across Chicago will feature the Ghost Candy Margarita, a $15 specialty cocktail made with Ghost Tequila, lime juice, strawberry puree and club soda. For every Ghost Candy Margarita sold throughout the month, $1 will be donated to the Karen Wellington Foundation, an organization dedicated to bringing joy to women and families living with breast cancer.
Participating 4EG locations include aliveOne in Lincoln Park, Central Park Bar and Tune-Up in Avondale, Easy Bar and Estelle’s in Wicker Park, Remedy in Bucktown, The Owl in Logan Square and The Getaway in Lincoln Square. The month-long campaign will also include a special all-day fundraiser on Wednesday, October 21, when participating bars will donate $1 from every drink sold that day to the Karen Wellington Foundation.
The Karen Wellington Foundation helps put fun on the calendars of women and families living with breast cancer. Recipients are special ladies and families who are not done living yet. The foundation sends them on family vacations, relaxing spa days with sisters, dinners out with best friends, concerts, road trips and other activities.

From October 1 through October 31, Cody’s Public House in West Lakeview and The Graystone Tavern in Wrigleyville will serve a special menu of $10 pink cocktails, with 50% of proceeds from every featured cocktail sold donated to organizations supporting the fight against breast cancer.

From October 1 through October 21, the Chicago bakery will offer a special Pink Vanilla Iced Brownie for $6 at its Lincoln Park and Streeterville locations. For every pink brownie sold, $1 will be donated to the Lynn Sage Foundation Chicago’s In Good Taste Campaign, supporting the organization’s efforts to advance breast cancer research.
