"Breaking the Wheel" Cheese and Wine Tasting at Tesori

Tesori will hold a unique cheese and wine tasting event led by Chef Danny Sweis on Wednesday, August 26. Starting at 6 p.m., participants will enjoy La Marca prosecco, cocktails and an array of appetizers. At 6:15 p.m., Sweis will break open an 80 pound wheel of authentic red cow parmigiano-reggiano cheese. The certified Italian cheesehas been produced under the same strict regimen that has made it the "king of cheeses" for over six hundred years. Guests will experience the immediate release of aroma and taste its buttery texture and notes of nuttiness and sweet fruit, as Sweis discusses the importance of ingredients and tradition in Tesori's Italian cuisine.
