Now Open French Fusion / Eclectic Edgewater

The team behind Brasserie by C&C, located in Edgewater, will open their doors for dining on Saturday, January 7. The new neighborhood eatery offers locally inspired French fare. Executive Chef Jesse Lee will be at the forefront of the kitchen, alongside proprietor Brad Newman and beverage director Matthew Bresnahan.

The ever-changing a la carte and optional prix fixe menu will feature ingredients sourced from farm partners and prepared in time-honored traditions. Dishes will include seasonal butter boards; French onion soup; pork belly crispy rice; foie gras croquettes; herbed marconas; romaine wedge; half chicken cassoulet; steak frites; brasserie burger; pan seared Coho salmon; short rib pappardelle; and more. Dessert offerings range from hazelnut chocolate tart and triple cream flan to casa humilde affogato and baked-to-order cookie trio a la mode. The beverage program features local beers, artisanal and natural wines, and a rotation of seasonally-curated cocktails.

Brasserie by C&C will offer dinner service Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. The bar will serve libations until midnight.
