New Menu River North

On the heels of receiving a Michelin Bib Gourmand for the second consecutive year, Bohemian House (BoHo) provides yet another reason to visit – the introduction of new culinary and cocktail menus. Since joining the restaurant in July, Executive Chef Rob Sidor has worked to elevate the Central European-inspired fare.

Chef Sidor’s fare is the culinary counterpart to the welcoming ambiance that is BoHo. The Whitefish with bread dumpling, baby fennel, pecans and pickle butter is light and flavorful, while the Beef Sirloin wrapped in serrano ham, served alongside royal trumpet mushrooms, creamed spinach, parsley root and horseradish tea makes its mark as an original take on the classic bacon-wrapped beef. The Zurek Rye Soup is a rustic Polish dish, featuring kielbasa, root vegetables, hard boiled egg and hearty rye bread. Diners can But rest assured that staples, such as the Beef Cheek Pierogi, Grilled Chicken Paprikash and cult-favorite Pork Schnitzel remain.

“We are constantly seeking to add our own spin to create dishes beyond the few Central European classics that Americans are familiar with." - Executive Chef Rob Sidor

Desserts by pastry chef Jessica Vazquez have also received a makeover. The new Tart Cytrynowy (Lemon Tart) with pistachio mousse, almond meringue, honey lace tuile and candied flowers and the Chocolate Bouchon with chocolate ice cream, raspberry curd, almond meringue and raspberries fulfills every dessert lover’s dream.

To complement both the cuisine and the chilly temperatures, Bohemian House is debuting a new cocktail menu, with something for everyone. Spirit enthusiasts will enjoy sipping the new Infused Fashion, featuring coffee, oats and smoked demerara-infused Old Forester, while mezcal aficionados will like the balanced flavors in One For The Road, with tequila, mezcal, pineapple and honey-chamomile syrup. Seasonal drinks include Long Way Home, a fresh take on the Hot Toddy (cognac, scotch, lemon, honey syrup, oolong tea, garnished with caramelized honey foam and orange peel) and Punk-in Flip, an original eggnog creation (pumpkin-infused bourbon, becherovka, pumpkin syrup, orgeat and whole egg, garnished with Aztec chocolate bitters and fresh nutmeg). The beer list presents a selection of 14 local small batch, craft and European brews on draft.
