Blue Violet at Hubbard Inn Hosts Comedy Hour

Blue Violet (110 W. Hubbard St.), Hubbard Inn’s second floor garden-inspired lounge, will host a comedy showcase on Wednesday, August 5 featuring five Chicago stand up comedians from Comedy Central, Laugh Factory and more.

For $30 per person, guests will receive two drinks, and Hubbard Inn menu items will be available for purchase. Guests can choose from a 6 p.m. or 8 p.m. showtime when purchasing tickets. The shows will run about two hours with each comic performing a 15 minute set. Socially distanced seating at 25-percent capacity per the city of Chicago’s guidelines will be available.

Featured comics include Correy Boyd-Bell (TRU TV "Laff Tracks", Showtime special "Monique & Friends"), T-Murph (Comedy Central's Kevin Hart "Hart of the City", Co-star of HULU's "Woke" airing September 7), Sarah Perry (Laugh Factory regular, WGN's Man of the People), Chris Bader (Laugh Factory regular, opener for Jeremy Piven and Big Cat from Barstool Sports), and Alex Dragicivech (Laugh Factory regular, former Notre Dame starting center).

Patrons who arrive early for the show will be offered happy hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. featuring half-off all cocktails and $5 specialty martinis. Guests can also purchase dinner at Hubbard Inn before the show with socially distanced indoor seating as well as patio seating on Hubbard Inn’s newly revamped sidewalk patio.
