Big Onion Hospitality has announced the opening of its third Fatpour Tap Works location at 7244 N. Lincoln Avenue in Lincolnwood, Illinois. The almost 10,000 square feet of combined indoor/outdoor industrial space features a dining room, bar, outdoor patio and the concept’s keg cooler.

“The Big Onion Hospitality team is thrilled to bring Chicago’s iconic sports bar to the Lincolnwood community,” says Owner Erik Baylis. “We believe our newest establishment will be a fantastic addition to the neighborhood and surrounding area, offering a welcoming space for locals to gather for the big game, enjoy delicious food and a huge beer list, and host unforgettable private events.” 

Guests can anticipate selecting from a beer list featuring an array of options including IPAs, ciders, lagers, wheats, stouts and more, along with signature cocktails, wines, mocktails and non-alcoholic beers. 

A sampling of the food menu includes:

Starters

  • Chicken & Waffle Bites: waffle-battered chicken breast, maple syrup and powdered sugar

  • Crab Cakes: Two pan-seared crab cakes served with remoulade, mango pico de gallo and dressed baby kale

Flatbreads

  • Margherita: roma tomato, fresh mozzarella, parmesan, basil pesto and balsamic glaze

  • The Fatty: pepperoni, bacon, sausage, IPA onions, shredded mozzarella, provolone and red sauce

Salads

  • The Southern: southern fried chicken, tomato, roasted corn, black beans, tortilla strips and pepper jack cheese tossed in creamy chipotle ranch

  • ‘Berg & Bacon: iceberg wedge, thick cut cherrywood bacon, blue cheese, pickled red onion, cherry tomato, Italian vinaigrette and blue cheese dressing

Burgers

  • The Fatpour: Merkt’s cheddar, tomato and bacon grilled cheese buns topped with fried onion, lettuce, pickled jalapeno, black truffle aioli and a fried egg

  • Maple Bacon Burger: swiss cheese, maple glazed bacon, smashed tater tots, fried egg, mayo and avocado

Sandwiches

  • Chicken Club: marinated & grilled chicken breast, provolone, lettuce, tomato, applewood bacon, avocado and green goddess dressing on toasted multigrain bread

  • Steak: marinated petite tender, fresh mozzarella, arugula, IPA onions tomato and chimichurri on a toasted golden ale roll

Fat Plates 

  • Crab Cakes: two sauteed crab cakes served with mango remoulade, mango pico de gallo and choice of two sides

  • Orange Chicken: spicy orange glazed chicken, steamed rice and stir-fried vegetables

Steak

  • All steaks grilled to order with choice of sides and include filet mignon (8 ounces), New York strip (16 ounces) and cowboy ribeye (16 ounce)

Brunch

  • Hot Honey Chicken & Waffles: pearl sugar waffles, fried chicken, hot honey drizzle, maple syrup and whipped butter

  • Shrimp & Grits: sauteed shrimp, mixed peppers, white wine, creole butter and white cheddar herbed grits

Fatpour Lincolnwood features a bar, two dining spaces and an outdoor patio that is able to seat close to 300 people. Similar to the city concepts, the restaurant will replicate the industrial feel that includes metal beer barrels and 20 flatscreen TVs for sport games. The keg cooler is a focal point of the restaurant, built in the center of the bar from floor to ceiling. Additional features include a fireplace in the private dining room, moss walls and fire pits on the patio.
