This September, Berenjak will open its doors at Soho House Chicago, bringing a fresh perspective on Iranian food to the Fulton Market District.
Berenjak at Soho House Chicago will mark the restaurant’s second public US location, following its outpost at Soho Warehouse in Downtown Los Angeles. It will be the fourth restaurant launched in partnership with Soho House, alongside member-facing residencies: Little Berenjak at Soho Farmhouse (UK) and DUMBO House (NY).
Bringing its home-style approach to the Chicago community, the restaurant takes inspiration from the bustling kabab houses of Tehran and offers a shared, family-style dining experience rooted in the flavors and traditions of Persian cooking.
Founded in London by chef Kian Samyani, Berenjak has drawn international attention for its ingredient-focused dishes – from coal-grilled kababs to spiced mazeh plates – alongside traditional drinks like sharbats and doogh. Berenjak Chicago will feature an extended wine list, as well as new cocktails previously exclusive to locations in the UK. These include the savory Olive Leaf Martini with gin distilled using real leaves, and the Phel Phel Margarita – a Persian take on Soho House’s signature Picante with house-made syrup and torshi salt.
Open to the public, reservations will be available on berenjak.com in September. Walk-ins will also be accepted.
