Belmont Steaks | June 6 at Belmont Tavern

Belmont Tavern is bringing race day to Avondale with a new event, Belmont Steaks, on June 6. An official viewing party for the Belmont Stakes, the event will transform the tradition with a tongue-in-cheek celebration featuring specialty drinks, a hat contest, and food pop-ups from local favorites including Mother Prepper, Dixie BBQ and more. 

Guests can stop by Belmont Tavern for a Mint Shrub Julep, a spin on the classic made with bourbon, mint shrub, Kina L'Aero d'Or, amontillado sherry, and a splash of champagne vinegar.

The celebration runs from 3pm–1am, with the race expected to start around 6pm.
