On Thursday, May 21, Chef Bill Kim (bellyQ) and Forbidden Root Botanic Brewing Co., are inviting guests to a special evening packed full of exciting flavors. Using bark, stems, blossoms, sap, herbs, spices, leaves, flowers, honey, and roots, Forbidden Root crafts delicious botanical beverages for the thrill-seeking palate, which pair perfectly with Bill Kim’s eclectic dishes.

Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy four of the Chicago brewery's show-stopping beers including Sublime Ginger Beer, Forbidden Root, Shady Character and Divine Mud while chowing down on a special menu crafted by Chef Bill Kim. The menu for the evening includes:

BBQ Beef Brisket
Smoked Sausage
Udon Mac & Cheese
Baked Beans with Bacon
Cheddar Jalapeño Corn Bread with Herbed Compound Butter
Cabbage Slaw
Corn with Curry Mayo

As a way to give back to the local community, a portion of proceeds from the dinner will go towards Inspiration Kitchens Charity.
