Beef Shack, the Chicagoland beef sandwiche shop, has opened its second Elgin location. The new restaurant, which launched July 25, is located at 2300 N. Randall Rd. with dine-in, drive-thru, carryout and catering services.

“We are thrilled to expand our presence in the Elgin community,” Beef Shack CEO Daniel Perillo said. “The new location will continue to deliver the high-quality dining experience customers have come to love: the best sandwiches made only from the freshest ingredients. We are also proud to provide a spacious outdoor patio where guests can take advantage of the beautiful summer weather.”

The new Elgin location is the chain’s fourth restaurant in the Chicagoland area. In addition to locations in Huntley and Bartlett, Beef Shack already had one Elgin locale at 3145 Hwy. 20.

“We are very happy that Beef Shack is expanding their business in the City of Elgin with a second location,” Elgin Mayor David Kaptain said. “The increase in dining options and employment opportunities are always welcome. We wish them success at their new Randall Road location.”

Beef Shack spun off from Rosati’s Pizza in 2019. Since its founding, Beef Shack has served only the fresh sandwiches using all-natural beef. Rolls are baked fresh daily; fries are cut and fried before being served.

Beef Shack will open two additional locations later this year: St. Charles (2015 W. Main St.) in October and Oswego (3433 Orchard Rd.) in December. Beef Shack will continue to expand its presence in the western Chicago suburbs next year, with five new locations slated to open in 2023.

The new Elgin location is at 2300 N. Randall Rd., Unit A, with dine-in, drive-thru, carryout and catering services. Hours: Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
