Beauty and the Beast Inspired Menu at Mercat a la Panxa

Mercat a la Planxa is hosting their “Beauty and the Beast” menu featuring dishes incorporating game meat (the beast) paired with various wines (the beauty).  Just in time for autumn hunting season, the menu celebrates different cuts of game meat, including wild boar, venison, and duck breast. The four-course menu starts with a pan con tomate, followed by wild boar empanadas, then an option of grilled venison or pan-seared duck breast, finishing with a pumpkin Crema Catalana for dessert. The prix fixe menu is available from Oct. 15-31 and costs $75 per person with wine or $60 per person without wine.
