On Saturday, June 25, the River North restaurant will feature a Latin Beach Party starting at 5:30 p.m. with such beachy beverages as Rum Punch (light and dark rum mixed with fresh fruit juices); Tropical Tease (coconut rum, melon liquor, banana liquor and pineapple juice) and Miami Vice (half strawberry daiquiri and half pina colada) for $10 each. Hit the dance floor as DJ X spins salsa, meringue, bachata and more from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m.
On National Mai Tai Day (Thursday, June 30), Nacional 27 will transport you to a tropical, Polynesian paradise with handcrafted Mai Tai cocktails made with three types of rum, orgeat syrup, orange liqueur and lime juice. From 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., Mai Tais by the glass will be $6 and fishbowls (52 ounces; serves 2-4) will be $20.
