Bar La Rue is now open as DineAmic Hospitality’s newest restaurant in Fulton Market. Located around the corner from the recently opened La Serre, Bar La Rue is a brand-new concept at 820 W. Fulton Market Street that celebrates French-American cuisine with a cocktail program. The new location also offers an all-season, streetside pergola bar and dining area for al fresco dining.

“Each time we are given the opportunity to open up a restaurant in Fulton Market, our goal is to bring something unique and exciting to the neighborhood,” says DineAmic Hospitality co-founder Luke Stoioff. “In the case of Bar La Rue, we are bringing a playful vibe, great cocktails, and comforting food, with an ambiance mirroring a bustling streetside bar in France. Whether it’s a weekday lunch, a weeknight happy hour, or a weekend meal with friends, we’re providing a walk-in-friendly respite that delivers a distinct sense of community and fun.”

The kitchen team is led by Chef Nikitas Pyrgis and Chef Partner Athinagoras Kostakos. Diners can expect French inspired dishes like the Royale with Cheese, a smash burger with melted sharp American cheese served with crispy frites and dijonaise, and a Lobster Roll on a brioche bun that can be served in the classic style or “opulent” style adorned with Osetra caviar and shaved truffles. Other preparations from the menu include:

  • Traditional French Fondue Service – Served with a rotating menu of seasonal accompaniments such as crispy potatoes, raw vegetables, and charcuterie to dip

  • Kale & Apple Salad – A shaved vegetable salad with sherry vinaigrette, feta, and crispy shallots.

  • Raw Bar Selections – Options include items like shrimp cocktail or chilled oysters on the half shell

“Our culinary team did an incredible job striking a balance between the familiar and the avant-garde with the menu at Bar La Rue,” says DineAmic Hospitality co-founder David Rekhson. “The approachability of this menu really aligns with the restaurant’s aesthetic – It’s great for any time of day and most any occasion, but with memorable dishes that leave a distinct impression.”

Riffs on classic French mixology are central to Bar La Rue’s cocktail program. Selections include their take on a French Martini with fresh chamomile and blackberry, a spin on Rum Punch, and an herbaceous Rosemary Paloma.
