Ballast Point Brewing which introduced Ballast Point Tasting Room & Kitchen to the Chicago’s Fulton Market District in May, has opened its fourth-floor rooftop bar and kitchen. Boasting 50 tap lines and nearly 150 additional seats, the space offers visitors the full range of Ballast Point brews available in the brewpub, along with a dedicated rooftop kitchen serving delicious bites from an elevated bar menu and a city view.

“We know Chicagoans love to make the most of summer, so we wanted to bring the best of our brewpub experience to the outdoors,” said Ben Dollard, President of Ballast Point. “Our new rooftop is the perfect space to soak up the sun and taste Ballast Point’s wide variety of brews.”

Rooftop-goers can take in views of the West Loop neighborhood and city skyline, as they drink classic Ballast Point drafts and Chicago-exclusive research and development beers, by Chicago Brewing Manager Keith Faught. Guests can also enjoy select items from the locally inspired menu, curated by Ballast Point’s Corporate Executive Chef, Colin MacLaggan, and Chicago’s Executive Sous Chef, John Diaz, including the fan-favorite Bavarian Style Pretzel and choose-your-style Ballast Point Wings.
