Food Festival

Bacon and beer lovers near and far, cause for celebration is here! After drawing sold-out crowds in Chicago last

fall, the Bacon and Beer Classic is returning to the Windy City for more sudsy, bacon-fueled fun inside Soldier Field. Guests can expect a festival even bigger and better than before on Saturday, October 1st.

Over 30 local restaurants and 40 regional breweries will serve up delicious bacon-infused dishes and refreshing craft beer throughout the concourse. Guests can also try their hand at giant Jenga, strike a pose at the photo booth, battle it out on the bungee run, brand themselves with bacon and beer-inspired tattoos, compete in a bacon eating contest, and more.

The all-star lineup of breweries includes Half Acre Brewery, 4 Hands Brewing Co., Noon Whistle Brewing and 3 Sheeps Brewing Co.; all will be pouring two of their craft beers or ciders. Chefs from Public House, Red Door, Flo, Knife & Tine and more will bring their most inventive bacon-infused dishes to the plate. A panel of judges will be on site to rate the sips and tastes and also award winners in select categories. The restaurant awarded the Best Overall Bacon Dish will go on to compete in the 2016 World Food Championships in Orange Beach, Alabama.

Guests can attend one of two General Admission sessions from 12-3p.m. and 6-9p.m, upgrade to an Early Access ticket for half hour early entrance, or opt for the full VIP experience. VIP ticket holders are offered one-hour early admission and exclusive access to the Midway Lounge, where they may enjoy additional craft beers, bacon dishes, and a do-it-yourself bar.

As always, the Bacon and Beer Classic is all-inclusive. General Admission tickets are currently selling at $59,
Early Access tickets are selling at $75 and VIP tickets are selling at $89. All tickets include a souvenir Bacon and Beer Classic tasting glass to take home.
