Azul Mariscos, the new Latin-inspired restaurant & bar located along the Chicago River, ha announced the launch of weekend brunch.  

Beginning Saturday, October 10, guests will be offered Executive Chef Michael Hernandez’s  interpretations of brunch classics along with a handful of new culinary creations.  Brimming with both savory and sweet options, menu highlights will include:

Tostones de Langosta Y Aguacate (Lobster Avocado “Toastones”)

Chef Michael’s take on Avocado Toast.

Lobster Claw & Tail Meat | Sunny Side-Up Quail Egg | Guacamole | Pico de Gallo | Cojita Cheese | Housemade Tostones 

Ancho Mexican Chocolate Stuffed Pancakes

Fresh Strawberries | Powdered Sugar | Maple Syrup

Chilaquiles GF

Chef Michael’s Signature Dish.

Flash Fried & Seasoned Corn Tortillas (Cooked In Salsa) | Two Eggs | Chihuahua Cheese | Sour Cream | Choice of Salsa Rojas, Salsa Verde or Diablo Sauce

Churro French Toast

A handful of lunch items, like Azul’s Alas de Pollo (Grilled Honey Chipotle Glazed Wings,) Coctel de Camar (Shrimp Cocktail) and Empanadas de Langosta Con Queso (Lobster & Cheese Empanadas) will also be available.

For those who like their brunch a bit boozy, Azul’s weekend brunch menu will include a slew of cocktails, including Mimosas and a Build-Your-Own Michelada option. 

Azul’s brunch menu will be available every Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am – 3:30pm.
