Fat Thursday, or Tsiknopémpti, is traditionally a day when grilled meat is consumed in large quantities in Greece, as a part of the traditional celebrations of Apókries, the Greek Carnival season. The event is celebrated 59 days before Easter. This year Avli on The Park (180 N Field Blvd) is celebrating with a Greek feast on February 16th for $60 per person and live Greek music from a three-piece band led by Alexi Meletiou beginning at 8pm.
