All Too Well

For National Sandwich Month this August, Kellogg’s Away From Home has announced a new Cheez-Itbrand partnership with Chef Mitchell Aboujamra, owner and head chef of Chicago-based sandwich shop and market All Too Well.

Chef Aboujamra is offering the “Gutman Bros” as All Too Well’s “Sandwich of the Month” during August. The sandwich features Cheez-Itinfused whipped cheese, Cheez-Itfried onions, a choice of bacon or sausage, and avocado, served on two fried waffle hash browns. 

“Teaming up with Kellogg Company and Cheez-It was a no-brainer for me as a chef. At All Too Well, we use unique ingredients and reimagine classics, so utilizing Cheez-It in a sandwich just makes perfect sense,” said Chef Aboujamra. “Doing cheese differently and playing with Cheez-It adds a crispy texture, a bold flavor, and a comforting familiarity that connects with people on a nostalgic level. This sandwich reminds me of everything I love about snacks.”

Big Shoulders Coffee

Big Shoulders Coffee offers a Turkey Sausage Breakfast Sandwich. A fresh, homemade turkey sausage patty is accompanied by cheddar cheese on a sweet brioche bun. Spicy mayo is included, but served on the side.

Stan's Donuts & Coffee

All month of August, the Stanwich, made with the options of egg & cheese, bacon, or plant-based sausage; or the Croissant Stanwich, a traditional Stanwich sandwich between two flakey croissants. 

Hannah's Bretzel

On the menu, a variety of breakfast and lunch sandwiches including Goddess of Italian Parma, Spicy Chicken Melt, Spanish Serrano Ham + Manchego Cheese, and more. Hannah’s Bretzel also offers a Chef Series that features a special sandwich created by a local chef. In August, diners can expect a collaboration with Bloom Plant Based Kitchen.

Jaleo by José Andrés

Jaleo recently debuted their De Punta a Punta experience, where diners can experience a seven course food and beverage pairing menu with tapas, Spanish wines, bites, cocktails, and dessert from both Jaleo and downstairs at the speakeasy Pigtail. Within the bites at Jaleo, Chef Jose Davila offers the Bikini de jamón Ibérico de bellota con trufa, a pressed sandwich with truffle, fresh mozzarella, and paletilla Ibérica de bellota. This is a take on their regular pressed sandwiches, ‘bikinis’, offered during regular lunch hours. The exclusive De Punta a Punta experience is available every Thursday and requires advance reservations.

The Smith

Guests can choose the Roasted Cauliflower Banh featuring avocado, cucumber, jalapeño, pickled vegetables, topped with spicy sesame aioli and served on a ciabatta. Or the Grilled Chicken Sandwich featuring burrata, tomato jam, basil aioli, served on a ciabatta.


For National Sandwich Month, diners can get the Crispy Truffle Mac n Cheese. This is made with a crispy truffle mac n cheese patty and topped with white cheddar, truffle and aioli between a brioche bun. 


Fora’s Fried Chicken Sandwich is a twist on a classic - served with a roasted chili barbecue sauce, pickled jalapeño and cabbage and comes alongside fries. 


Foie Gras Steamed Buns featuring Szechuan pickled cucumber and apple hoisin.

The Press Room

The Press Room sandwich is made with prosciutto cotto, fig, banana, spring greens, dijonaise, gouda.

Chicago Burger Company

Chicago Burger Company, the riverwalk restaurant at Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk serves a variety of sandwiches like the Herb Grilled Chicken Sandwich topped with the works.

Offshore Rooftop

Offshore Rooftop has a menu of small bites, with a number of sliders for sharing. One of the items on the menu is the Falafel Sliders made with Tzatziki, Romesco and veggies. 

Farm Bar Lakeview

This take on the classic reuben with plant-based ingredients. Farm Bar Lakeview is using beets as the substitute for corned beef to create the same texture and topped with sauerkraut, swiss cheese, Farm Bar secret sauce sandwiched between marble rye bread. 

Staytion Market & Bar

Staytion Market & Bar has a rotating “Chef’s Perfect Sandwich”. Chef Andrian Vazquez serves a Crispy Chicken Torta featuring chicken milanese, jalapeno aioli, pickled jalapeno, pickled red onion and caramelized cheese between a telera roll. 

The Dearborn

Executive Chef Aaron Cuschieri has crafted his take on the beef wellington, offering a “Burger Wellington” made with USDA Prime Ground Beef, Cambozola, Caramelized Onions, Mushroom, Puff Pastry, Dijonnaise and Frisee. 

Thomas & Dutch

This National Sandwich Month, a Thomas & Dutch’s signature “Dutch’s Melt” made with Mangalitsa Pork Patty, Gruyere, Caramelized Onions on toasted rye. 


For National Sandwich Month, Chef Noah Zamler offers the PBLT with pork belly, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise and Irene’s secret sauce. The sandwich is served with the choice of handmade fries, breakfast potatoes, fruit or even waffle fries. 

Don Bucio's Taqueria

The sandwich that started it all for Don Bucio’s is their Nopal Milanese Torta, packed with refritos, mojo verde, pico, arugula and Don Bucio’s special escabeche. 


Diners can select Urbanbelly’s Hot Chicken Bao Buns for National Sandwich Month. Chef Bill’s buns come with cabbage, pickle and served with his special lemongrass fire sauce. 

LG's Bar & Kitchen

LG’s Bar & Kitsch Fancy Fish sandwich made with Beer battered fresh cod, house made tartar sauce, our house pickles, american cheeses & crisp shredded lettuce on a toasted brioche bun. 


1308 located right across from the Salt Shed has a spin on a the pork chop sandwich. Crispy Pork Chop Sammie made with House Bread Crumbs, Picked Red Onion, House Mustard.
