Meals on Wheels Chicago (MoWC) has announced its first annual Nourish Our City fundraiser on Thursday, August 8 in celebration of its 32nd birthday. Chicago bars and restaurants are participating in the city-wide day of giving by making a donation to MoWC through their food and beverage sales on August 8. Donations support MoWC programs that improve quality of life and maximize independence for Chicago’s homebound community.
Participating restaurants include About Last Knife, Cherry Circle Room, and Longman & Eagle, who are donating a portion of the proceeds from food and beverage sales to the Nourish Our City effort.
