Asian Hotel Brand L7 Debuts in Chicago with Restaurant Perilla Korean American Steakhouse

Bringing the Asian hotel brands stateside for the very first time, South Korea’s largest hotel group Lotte Hotels and Resorts introduces L7 Hotel to downtown Chicago (225 N. Wabash at E Wacker Pl), opening Spring 2024. 

Located steps from the Chicago Riverwalk and the Magnificent Mile on Michigan
Avenue, L7 Hotels by Lotte offers guests close proximity to the city’s tourist attractions and
business district along with the ground-floor restaurant, PERILLA korean american steakhouse from local restaurateurs Executive Chef Andrew Lim and Partners Thomas Oh and Alvin Kang.

Upon entering L7 Hotels by Lotte, to the left of the lobby entrance is multi-leveled Perilla korean american steakhouse, Chef Lim’s modern interpretation of the classic Chicago steakhouse, inspired by traditional Korean flavors. 

A new concept from the Perilla brand, the restaurant pays homage to the city’s steakhouse scene. The restaurant features custom grill tables surrounded by banquette seating, a bar, and a chef’s counter that offers a tasting menu.
