The evening begins with a 3-course dinner featuring Artango's signature Argentine and Latin American cuisine, including entree options like Bife de Chorizo and Salmon de Pasion. From there, Argentine-born Tango pro Hernan Prieto choreographs a rotating line-up of dancers, presenting a showcase of Tango, inspired by the age-old tradition of Milonga clubs, dance halls and events in his native Buenos Aires.
Tucked off-the-beaten-path, in an art-filled, street-level nook of Ravenswood's century-old landmark Deagan Building, the 80-seat,BYOB Artango Bistro has become the epicenter for Argentine Tango and Latin American cuisine since opening 18-months ago. The $45 TASTE OF TANGO ticket price includes a 3-course dinner (BYOB) and tango showcase, with advance reservations required.
