InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile is kicking-off the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival with music, food and four-legged friends. With its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in the lobby on Thursday, November 15 at 5 p.m., guests and attendees are welcome to bring their canine companions in honor of the hotel’s newest seasonal travel amenity, waived pet fees for the remainder of 2018. Announcing the new initiative, the property has partnered with Chicago Canine Rescue for a “Yappy Hour” during the entirety of the tree lighting event where all can meet, pet and play with some of Chicago’s most-adoptable pups.

In addition to the pooch party, attendees will be treated to a specially-curated performance by the Chicago Gay Man’s Chorus beginning at 6 p.m. Complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served prior to the official tree-lighting moment at 6:30 p.m.
