What to know about 9th Annual Ravenswood on Tap Craft Beer Festival Returns July 18th-19th
The 9th annual Ravenswood on Tap festival hosted by the Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce (GRCC) returns July 18th & 19thfor a weekend celebrating the local Malt Row community!
Featuring beer and spirits from local breweries and distilleries, Ravenswood on Tap is a two-day celebration of Malt Row. The spotlight is put on local businesses in the neighborhood from restaurants to retailers, artisans, makers, and more. Enjoy an extensive line-up of live music and entertainment, street food, handmade goods, and more.
“This is going to be a great year for On Tap!” shares Amy Czarkowski, Director of Events & Marketing for the GRCC. “We have an incredible line-up of live music. The entirety of Malt Row is participating, plus a few other surprises. And Mini Golf is a fun new addition this year. It’s a great neighborhood event to enjoy with friends and family, while trying a brew or two you might not have tasted before.”
Ravenswood on Tap is located along Ravenswood Avenue between Berteau & Belle Plaine. The festival includes a suggested donation of $10 to benefit small business support and community programming from the GRCC (501c6) and public art and placemaking projects from the Ravenswood Community Council (501c3). Proceeds will additionally benefit Friends of Ravenswood Elementary (501c3), Ravenswood Neighbors Association (501c3), Common Pantry (501c3), and several other community fundraising partners.
“A $10 donation at the gate is suggested, but we encourage people to give whatever they can,” shares Gene Wagendorf III, Executive Director of the GRCC. “Street fests and events like On Tap are not funded by the city; they’re funded by your local chamber of commerce like the GRCC. Every dollar raised is directly put back into the community whether that’s through many of the programs we offer dedicated to small business support, or to fund projects that beautify the neighborhood we all love.”
Participating breweries and distilleries this year will include Begyle Brewing, Cultivate by Forbidden Root, Demo Brewing, Dovetail Brewery, Half Acre Beer Company, Hop Butcher for the World, Is/Was Brewing, KOVAL Distillery, and Spiteful Brewing. A new addition for 2026 includes Underberg Digestive Bitters. Finally, guests will be able to satisfy hungry appetites with bites from local restaurants while browsing goods from artists and shops.
Other entertainment highlights to expect include:
Live Music from amazing local musicians
Wine Tastings with Vin312 Winery
Street food
