Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille will bring back its #FlashbackFriday promotion, offering two of its Friday lunch dishes for 79 cents each at its Chicago-area restaurants. The pricing references 1979, the year Perry’s began as a butcher shop in Houston.
This year’s promotion will be available to the first 200 eligible guests, doubling the number of participants from previous celebrations. Perry’s will offer 100 of its Famous Pork Chop Friday Lunch and 100 of its new Caramelized Prime Rib Steak Sandwich for 79 cents each.
“Friday lunch has been a big part of Perry's story, and we are thrilled to serve guests who join us weekly to enjoy our Famous Pork Chop,” said Chris Perry, president and owner of Perry’s Restaurants. “Flashback Friday gives us a chance to have a little fun with that tradition and show appreciation to our guests who love our Pork Chop. This year, we're doubling the number of guests who can take part and bringing a new Friday lunch favorite into the 79-cent celebration as a thank you for their continued loyalty.”

The date of the promotion has not yet been announced and will be revealed through Perry’s social media channels. On the selected Friday, doors will open at 10:30 a.m., when cards will be distributed to the first 200 guests in line. Of those, 100 cards will be redeemable for the Famous Pork Chop Friday Lunch and 100 for the Caramelized Prime Rib Steak Sandwich. Selections will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while quantities remain.
Caramelized Prime Rib Steak Sandwich
The Famous Pork Chop Friday Lunch includes Perry’s lunch-cut pork chop with whipped potatoes, homemade applesauce and freshly baked bread. The pork chop is seasoned, cured, roasted, slow-smoked and caramelized before being finished in the oven and topped with herb-garlic butter.
The Caramelized Prime Rib Steak Sandwich, a newer addition to Perry’s Friday lunch menu, features pecan-wood-fired prime rib that is crusted and caramelized to order. It is served with French fries and horseradish cream.
Guests must be 21 or older to participate in the 79-cent promotion, which is available for dine-in only.
Outside of Flashback Friday, both dishes are available during Perry’s regular Friday lunch service from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The full lunch and dinner menus are also offered during Friday lunch service. The tableside carving presentation of Perry’s pork chop is reserved for dinner service.
