The spirit is made only in Brazil and is considered the first distilled sugar cane spirit in the Americas, pre-dating rum (made with molasses) by nearly a hundred years. Caipirinhas are the national drink of Brazil. Made with only three ingredients (Cachaça, lime, and sugar), this is a tangy drink that holds a colorful history.
