What to Know

On Sunday, July 3, the Dark Horse Tap & Grille will offer a $13 Fourth of July American Dog Burger, a Black Angus burger topped with a grilled Paulina Meat Market hot dog, applewood-smoked bacon and Wisconsin Cheddar cheese (served with American fries); and a $10 Bacon Bloody Mary, Bakon (bacon-infused vodka made with Idaho potatoes), bloody mary mix, crispy bacon, Wisconsin cheese curds and blue cheese-stuffed olives. Additional all-day deals include $5 off all sandwiches on the regular menu, including choices such as a Pulled Pork sandwich with whiskey barbecue sauce (regularly $10) and a Buttermilk-Soaked Fried Chicken sandwich (normally $12). All draft beers are discounted $4 each, including Chicago-brewed crafts from Revolution Brewing and Goose Island Beer Company.

On Monday, July 4, the Dark Horse offers all-day drink deals such as $4 Old Style/Old Style Light tallboy cans, $15 Corona/Corona Light buckets and $5 Fireball cinnamon whiskey shots. Enjoy American eats such as such as a The Quad burger with a fried egg, crispy smoked bacon and melted Cheddar cheese or a Moo and Oink burger, with Cheddar cheese, pulled pork, crispy onions and whiskey-spiked barbecue sauce. The bar screens America’s favorite pastime, baseball, as the Chicago Cubs take on the Cincinnati Reds at Wrigley Field (1:20 p.m.).
