360 CHICAGO Observation Deck has announced a new addition to its ongoing efforts to bring #TheRealChicago to residents and tourists who visit the attraction. While the 360 CHI Series will continue to offer bonus local-centric activities daily, the new Neighborhood Takeovers will give guests a taste of the food, beverages, entertainment, and culture of four distinct Chicago communities.

#TheRealChicago Neighborhood Takeovers will begin at 6 p.m. on the following dates:

Thursday, May 2:The Magnificent Mile spotlights hidden gems

Thursday, July 11:Old Town introduces its historic ties to architecture, entertainment and quirky boutiques

Thursday, September 5:Andersonville entices with Swedish history and one-of-a-kind finds

Thursday, October 3:Pilsen and the National Museum of Mexican Museum of Art share the beauty and culture of this neighborhood

360 CHICAGO’s BAR 94 will feature a custom cocktail designed by KOVAL and inspired by each neighborhood during the entire month surrounding each takeover. A portion of the sales from each cocktail will benefit a charity of the neighborhoods’ choosing.

“We want to encourage our guests to take a good look out over this magnificent city while they’re visiting the 94th floor, then be inspired to go explore the diverse new finds throughout The Magnificent Mile, Andersonville, Old Town and Pilsen neighborhoods,” says Nichole Williamson, general manager of 360 CHICAGO. “We started with the one-of-a-kind TILT thrill ride and continue to add genuinely unique Chicago finds to expand visitors’ knowledge and interest in our city, and to provide our local visitors an opportunity to see the city they love from a new perspective,” she adds.

In its third year, the 360 CHI Series will provide daily activities to highlight the city. From photographers, guides, yoga instructors, magicians, artists, and musicians to locally produced beer and cocktails, the series brings together a talented group of people with the goal of showcasing Chicago.
