More than 30 Chicago chefs, restaurateurs and beverage professionals will trade chef knives for pickleball paddles at 6pm on Monday, August 17 as they rally behind Culinary Care during the organization's inaugural Chef Pickle Battle.
The fundraiser hosted at SPF (2121 N Clybourn Ave in Lincoln Park) will bring together the city's culinary community for an evening of friendly competition benefiting Culinary Care's mission of helping ease the stress of treatment day by delivering free, restaurant-prepared meals and community support to families navigating a cancer diagnosis. The Chef Pickle Battle will feature chefs competing in a bracket-style pickleball tournament while guests cheer them on from the sidelines.
Guests can also enjoy a taste of Honey Butter Beach Club - SPF’s on-site restaurant in partnership with Honey Butter Fried Chicken - with a chef-curated buffet included with Premium Admission tickets that also includes two beverages.
There are two available guest ticket options. A portion of proceeds from every ticket sold benefits Culinary Care’s mission.
