It's been a big year in Chicago burgers! Let's recap with these mouthwatering pics on Instagram. Want to catch the feed in real time? Follow us on Instagram, and be sure to tag your food pics #ChicagoFoodMag. Here's what we saw:

#10 - Rural Society brought us the Gaucho Burger during #NationalBurgerMonth, a dreamy combo of angus beef with smoked chimichurri aioli.

#9 - Shhhh! Umami Burger in Wicker Park has a secret menu. Ask for the Hatch, though you didn't hear it from us...and yes, those are roasted green chiles!

#8 - When is a burger not a burger? When it's a turkey burger of course. Summer House Santa Monica brings the bird and we can't resist.

#7 - Butcher and Burger in Lincoln Park let's you build your own burger so why not build a classic?

#6 - Bottlefork hosts a Monday Burger Night each week and they line 'em up and sling 'em out all night long.

#5 - Umami Burger's second entry in our mid-year review is a double stack of beef with a fried egg on top!

#4 - Parts and Labor in Logan Square keeps their burger philosophy simple - a classic combo with American cheese, pickles, onions, lettuce and a double beef patty. Score!

#3 - In April, just in time for the start of the baseball season, III Forks brought back the Dunn Burger - this gluttonous combo of angus beef, cheddar cheese and slab bacon was a triple play (or home run!).

#2 - The Double Cheeseburger at Mott St isn't always on the menu but it's always on your mind!

Never miss an eat. Like us on Facebook!

#1 - No surprise here. The top burger so far in 2015 belongs to Au Cheval. This Chicago classic can't be denied!
