Big Game DePaul Lincoln Park North Center Wicker Park

This Sunday we will all be gathered around our televisions with friends and family watching the Patriots versus the Falcons. It's a yearly tradition, but if you want to make this year special and unique, here are some great options and deals to check out for Super Bowl Sunday.

Of course you must have wings, they're a Super Bowl staple, but spice up your options with Chicken Wangs and Tikka Wings. If you want to go out and celebrate instead of making a mess in your home, watch the game elsewhere and participate in a Chili Cook-off. Or if you simply want to challenge yourself, try out a Ramen Challenge and see if you can rise to the occasion.

Chicken Tikka Wings at Hakka Bakka

In celebration of the Super Bowl and for a limited time only, Hakka Bakka, will have special Chicken Tikka Wings on their menu. They are available for dine-in or delivery Monday, January 23 through Sunday, February 5. For the price of $8 for eight pieces, you also get a choice of a tikka ranch or cilantro aioli dipping sauce (extra sauce is available for 75-cents each).

But what are Tikka Wings? As a spin on standard game day fare, Hakka Bakka's Chicken Tikka Wings are baked in a spicy tikka sauce, which is a tomato and yogurt based sauce cooked with a traditional blend of Indian spices, and then marinated and gently placed in the oven and baked until they are fully cooked, tender and juicy. If you like your wings extra spicy, Hakka Bakka recommends pairing the wings with their tikka ranch dipping sauce.
