Live Entertainment Brunch Hyde Park

Where: The Promontory (5311 South Lake Park Avenue West)

When: Sunday, January 25th 11:30am-2pm

The Promontory opens its stunning performance space to offer locals a Sunday break from the grind (and bitter cold). The ten-piece, horn-driven Lowdown Brass Band, a local Chicago ensemble with New Orleans influences, brings its infectious sound and energy to the Promontory stage as the first musical guest to usher in this foot-stomping new Sunday tradition. Gather round one of the long communal tables while breaking it down to the band's undeniable funk/hip-hop/reggae/pop blend. Recently turning heads with their brilliant Roy Ayers collaboration on "Everybody Loves the Sunshine," Lowdown Brass Band is the perfect first musical act to christen this new Chicago experience, and—with plentiful good eats passed amongst friends and neighbors—a good time will certainly be had by all.

$50 Ticket Includes Family-Style Brunch, Live Music Performance, Tax & Gratuity. Drinking encouraged but not included in price.
