Staytion Market & Bar has introduced an entirely new menu to its culinary programming. Curated by Executive Chef Russell Shearer, formerly of JW Marriott Chicago, the new menu offers an array of dishes, from Grilled Bistro Filet with charred scallion aioli, smoked potatoes, and broccolini to Abuelo Rodolfo’s Empanada with beef picadillo, tetilla cheese, and house made chimichurri. 

Available Monday through Saturday starting at 11am and Sunday starting at Noon, the new menu features a variety of options including starters, greens, sandwiches, entrees, and desserts. Guests looking to kick off their Staytion dining experience with a sharable small plate can choose from a variety of starters such as Grilled Octopus with charred carrot puree, thai herbs, cilantro-lime vinaigrette, Cheese & Charcuterie with La Quercia prosciutto, salumi, cowda, local goat, Vermillion River blue cheese, and artisan ciabatta, and Blue Corn Crusted Great Lakes Walleye Tacos with chipotle aioli, red cabbage slaw, and lime. Those in need of a healthier menu item have the option to order from an assortment of salads including Chicago Greens and Apple Walnut. Additionally, patrons can opt for sandwiches such as the Staytion Burger with Heritage Praire pure butterkase, pickle, tomato, onion, and giardinera aioli, and Chef Russell’s Grilled Italian Sausage Sandwich with Lombardi’s Italian sausage, caramelized onions & peppers, mozzarella & provolone cheese, and house chips, as well as flavorful pizzas including Oven Roasted Might Vine Tomato and Italian Sausage & Mushroom. Selections of entrees include Grilled Chicken Breast with fennel & fregola, Evergreen Lane Farm chevre, and staytion herb vinaigrette and Rice Bowl with McKaskle Farm brown rice, edamame, mushrooms, spinach, scallion, soy + yuzu glaze, and your choice of protein. For those with a sweet tooth, dessert options of Buttered Caramel Cake, a Chocolate Tasting, and Vanilla Panna Cotta, will be sure to satisfy your sugar needs.

To complement the dining experience, Staytion’s Mixologist, Kevin Fahey, has created a beverage program of cocktails, as well as a list of wine and beer items for guests to enjoy. Additionally, the restaurant and bar offers a series of weekly events that include Happy Hour Monday through Friday starting at 5pm, Mixology 101 on Thursday from 5pm to 7pm, and Music Lounge on Friday from 5pm to 8pm.

Happy Hour is Monday-Friday 5pm – 7pm.
