CHICAGO, IL (MAY 16, 2015) – Porkchop is proudly celebrating four years since opening its doors in the West Loop. The Southern-inspired restaurant and bar with an emphasis on BBQ and whiskey is grateful to have been serving West Loopers during this time and is showing its appreciation with an anniversary celebration. Porkchop is inviting customers for a celebratory pig roast and other indulgent specials on Saturday, May 16th.

In addition to two pig roasts at 1pm and 6pm, Porkchop will hold other dine-in specials, including $4 Pulled Pork Sandwiches and a $4 beer & shot combo. The day’s festivities will also feature shot girls, giveaways and much more!

“The original Porkchop on Randolph Street will always be home,” says owner Jovanis Bouargoub. “We want to thank our loyal customers and invite them in to celebrate with us.”

About Porkchop

Porkchop is a restaurant and bar that dishes out an urban interpretation of a Southern backwoods experience. It is an unapologetically unpretentious neighborhood party spot serving gourmet Southern comfort food and BBQ, and featuring an innovative ‘lowbrow’ bar program with some of the world’s top whiskeys. Porkchop serves brunch, lunch, dinner and late-night on Randolph Street, and provides service for all three meal periods and late into the evening at its Hyde Park location. The music is edgy and eclectic; live music is a steady feature in Hyde Park. Porkchop offers daily drink and food specials and features a sidewalk patio in the summer. Porkchop also features a to-go concept at two locations, offering similarly backwoods inspired BBQ and Southern comfort food, unique from the other two restaurants, and prepared for express service.
