While summer heats up in Chicago, chilled seafood dishes will be in the spotlight on National Ceviche Day. From River North to Lincoln Square, two area restaurants will feature specials on refreshing, citrus-cured fare on Friday, June 28.

Artango Bar & Steakhouse in Lincoln Square will offer half priced shrimp ceviche from 5 p.m.-12 a.m. on Friday, June 28. Chef Saul Roman's Ceviche Isla is made with shrimp, passion fruit and aji amarillo sauce ($6, regularly $12). Come for the ceviche, and stay for the live "Tango Passion" show featuring tango and Argentine folklore performances by professional dancers from 8:30-9:30 p.m. 

Cantina Laredo in River North will offer discounted ceviche during happy hour on Friday, June 28 from 3:30-6:30 p.m. Chef Daniel Espinoza's Ceviche Verde features shrimp with pineapple, jicama, cucumber and salsa crudo for $7.50 (regularly $12). Guests may pair the dish with a signature Casa 'Rita for $7 (regularly $9.25).
