Steakhouse

On Monday, February 18, the Oak Brook restaurant will introduce guests to Steaksmanship, a steak tasting experience. At the table, Steaksmanship translates to a collection of three signature cuts rarely seen together on one menu.

The stars of Steaksmanship are:

·       A 16-ounce Bone-In Filet Mignon

·       A 16-ounce Linz Heritage Reserve Prime Delmonico, dry-aged for 45 days

·       An 8-ounce Mishima Reserve Ultra American Wagyu Strip Loin, Manhattan Cut.

The steaks are served sliced on a single rotating platter. They’re accompanied by three selected salts—Himalayan pink salt, Maldon sea salt and Pinot-infused sea salt—and three house-made sauces: balsamic ginger jus, truffled porcini bordelaise and Roth Buttermilk Blue fondue.

Designed for two or even three guests to share, the Steaksmanship collection is $160. Guests can choose add-ons such as lobster tails to further enhance the experience.

As an additional element to Steaksmanship, Michael Jordan’s is introducing a steak knife program for its regular guests. Those in the select group will be presented with a personalized steak knife, theirs and theirs alone, each time they dine.
