Krispy Kreme Doughnuts celebrates their 82nd birthday with the introduction of a new limited-time birthday treat: the Original Filled Birthday Batter Doughnut. The party will kick off Monday, July 15 and go through the weekend at Chicagoland shops located in Homewood at 17815 South Halsted Street, Evergreen Park at 9150 South Western Avenue and Hillside at 110 South Mannheim Road.
Krispy Kreme’s creation is an Original Glazed® Doughnut filled with birthday cake batter, dipped in strawberry icing and topped with celebratory sprinkles.
The birthday celebration gets even sweeter on Friday, July 19 when fans can purchase one dozen Original Glazed® Doughnuts for just $1 with the purchase of any dozen.
“Krispy Kreme fans love to celebrate our birthday and make it their own party,” said Carlos Larcada, President of Chicagoland Restaurants, LLC. “We’re excited to introduce an extra sprinkle of fun with the Original Filled Birthday Batter Doughnut and continue our tradition of the $1 dozen offer on the big day.”
