Food Festival French Lincoln Square

Enjoy a bustling French market right here in Chicago. The 14th Annual Lycée French Market transforms Chicago’s French international school into a market filled with local and French artisans selling home décor, jewelry, apparel, gourmet food and more. Guests also enjoy its Bistro—a visitor favorite—with its menu of French recipes.

The two-day event at the Lycée Français de Chicago, which draws upwards of 2,000 local attendees each year, will open its doors to the community on Saturday, November 17, from 10am to 5pm; and Sunday, November 18, from 10am to 4pm.

French artist and illustrator, Yann Legendre, returns as the poster artist for the event. Limited edition prints will be available for purchase at the market.

Proceeds raised through the French Market are dedicated to supporting student programs and resources at the Lycée, including financial aid, teacher training and classroom enhancements. Sponsors are led by Related Midwest, Savills Studley, the Chopping Block, La Boulangerie, Peapod and Wintrust.

Open to the public, the 2018 Lycée French Market will take place on the school’s campus, located at 1929 West Wilson Avenue. A $5 donation is suggested at entry. Tickets for the French Market are available for purchase at the door.

There is easy access to the Market from the Damen Brown Line stop, one block from the school. Street or paid garage parking is also available (Ravenswood Garage, 4551 N Damen Ave, Chicago, IL 60640).

Additional information on the French Market is available at lyceefrenchmarket.org.
