Calling all Spies, and Dungeons and Dragons fans: SafeHouse Chicago, the espionage-themed restaurant and bar, is hosting a live podcast recording with Dungeons, Dice and Everything Nice. On Monday, October 21 at 7:00 p.m., guests can experience the free interactive actual play of Dungeons and Dragons and participate in the storyline’s fate with suggestions from the audience.
SafeHouse’s undercover journey integrates its environment of nostalgia and secrecy with the resurgence of the popular 1980s fantasy game, Dungeons and Dragons (D&D). The event will take place at SafeHouse’s Gadget Bar, where Spies can also enjoy a dinner special of a Burger, Fries, and Unlimited Beer for $30.
The Dungeons, Dice, and Everything Nice live fantasy quest includes adventurous puzzles and challenges as the four performers bargain with dragons, battle sinister clowns, and flirt with cultists. The D&D actual play is half storytelling, half adventure, all game—with a Boss Battle at the end of the epic adventure as well.
