Special Events Fulton Market

On September 15, over 500 people gathered at Revel Fulton Market for Grand Cochon, a nose-to-tail culinary event dedicated to supporting family farmers and educating buyers about the agricultural importance of eating heritage breed pigs, some of which are on critical watch lists. Guests spent the evening sampling over 200 pounds of heritage pig from the chefs competing, as well as veggie bites from River Roast and a tartare bar from Roka Akor.

Brian Redzikowski of Kettner Exchange in Los Angeles took the top prize as the winner of the competition, which featured a total of nine chefs competing to be named 'King of Pork'.

Other elements of the event included the Sommelier's Smackdown where Nico Giraud from Minneapolis' Minikahda Club won the competition and Punch Kings featuring El Tesoro Tequila, a barkeep competition. The winner of Punch Kings was Wayne Roemhildt with Chef Shack Bay City.
