Lunch Hyde Park

The Promontory -- located in Chicago's historic Hyde Park neighborhood -- is now open for lunch during the week. Inspired by local, seasonal ingredients as well as their favorite selections on the existing dinner and brunch menus, Michelin-starred Chef/Partner Jared Wentworth and Chef de Cuisine Matt Sliwinksi updated these classic dishes into lunch items at affordable prices.

"We wanted to feature the same great product but offer it at a price point that would be accessible for lunch," said Wentworth.

The lunch menu features a variety of delectable options including a Fried Chicken Sandwich served on a challah bun with house-made buttermilk ranch, turmeric pickle relish and smoked bacon ($15), Multigrain French Toast with maple-macerated Klug Farm strawberry, malted mint whipped cream and toasted hazelnut ($14) and Mezze Spreads with chickpea hummus, eggplant purée, fried sunchoke, olive tapenade and hearth bread ($9).

Lunch is served from 11am to 3pm Monday through Friday. With the weather finally warming up, patrons can take advantage of their lunch break on The Promontory's beautiful outdoor patio while enjoying the inspiring surroundings and atmosphere of Hyde Park.
