For their latest Clucker Collaboration, Co-Owners and Chefs Christine Cikowski and Josh Kulp of Honey Butter Fried Chicken partner with Chef Edward Lee, owner of 610 Magnolia, MilkWood, and Whiskey Dry in Louisville and culinary director for Succotash in Maryland and Washington, D.C. The James Beard-nominated chef and cookbook author released his most recent book Buttermilk Graffiti: A Chef's Journey to Discover America's New Melting-Pot Cuisine.

Chef Edward Lee crafts a Southern and Korean-inspired sandwich dubbed the K.F. Lee Fried Chicken Sandwich using Honey Butter’s signature fried chicken in a gochujang sauce, topped with with bourbon pickled jalapeños and endive slaw. The sandwich is $12, with $1 from each sandwich to benefit Chef Lee’s nonprofit The LEE Initiative which seeks to increase diversity and equality in the restaurant industry through mentorship and leadership development programs.

The sandwich will be available April 30 – May 5 at the restaurant or online through Caviar for delivery and pickup.  Chef Edward Lee will be in the restaurant for dinner service on April 30 for the kickoff day so guests are welcome to stop by and meet him as well as Chefs Kulp and Cikowski.
