Food Festival Rosemont

Hofbräuhaus Chicago will ring in the spring season with its annual Maifest celebration April 20 through May 25. Festivities include a schedule of Bavarian entertainment, celebrity keg tapping ceremonies and the debut of freshly brewed “Maibock” beer.

The 2018 Maifest celebration will kick off Friday, April 20 with the return of Hofbräuhaus Chicago’s seasonal “Maibock” beer. A customer favorite, this German brew satisfies a wide range of palettes with its full-bodied, malty and sweet taste and clean finish. Maibock will join Hofbräuhaus Chicago’s three year-round beers, all brewed fresh in the on-site micro-brewery. Led by resident brew master Rob Hunter, the brewing process uses the 400-year-old techniques brought over from the original Hofbräuhaus in Germany.

In addition to regular live music from authentic “oompah” bands direct from Germany, Hofbrauhaus Chicago will feature an entertainment schedule with music from traditional brass bands, dance troupes and more.
